How does the Bookingor plugin manage movie showtime scheduling and ticket sales?
Core Bookingor Features and Integration
I found that the Bookingor plugin offers specific tools to handle the complexities of movie house management. When you configure the plugin, you establish a clear bridge between your showtime calendar and your payment infrastructure. This setup process allows you to define theater layouts and seat counts, ensuring that your inventory remains accurate during high-traffic periods.
You can manage your theater operations through a centralized dashboard. This area acts as your control center for updating showtimes and reviewing financial reports. The plugin supports detailed seat selection, which improves the experience for your patrons. You can also define custom pricing structures for matinees, evening shows, or premium seating options.
The following features assist in your daily operations:
- Custom scheduling for movie showtimes and recurring sessions.
- Real-time seat availability tracking to prevent overbooking.
- Interactive seat map creation for theater floor plans.
- Secure payment gateway integration for direct ticket sales.
- Tiered pricing options for different seat locations or time slots.
- Automated email confirmations sent directly to ticket buyers.
- Comprehensive reporting tools for tracking ticket revenue.
- Support for special event bookings alongside standard screenings.
Managing a cinema requires consistent attention to detail and reliable scheduling data. By using these features, you maintain a structured system that supports your business growth. You should test your configuration with a sample booking to ensure the payment flow operates correctly before you open ticket sales to the public.
