How to display a WordPress booking availability calendar on a specific page?
Bookingor Plugin Feature Implementation
You can display a booking availability calendar on any page by using the shortcode system provided by the Bookingor plugin. I found this method reliable because it integrates directly into the WordPress editor without requiring custom code. You simply paste the unique shortcode into the block editor of your chosen page to render the interactive calendar.
The plugin allows you to manage schedules and booking slots from a centralized dashboard. I recommend this approach if you want to keep your booking process contained within your site architecture. You control the availability settings, ensuring that your customers see real-time data when they visit your site.
Key features I discovered during my research include:
- Shortcode support for page placement
- Real-time availability calendar updates
- Customizable booking form fields
- Automated email notification system
- Responsive design for mobile devices
- Multiple service duration options
- Database management for appointments
- Conflict prevention for overlapping bookings
- User-friendly admin dashboard interface
- Translation-ready language files
Best: Appointment Scheduling Management
You can tailor the booking experience to fit your specific operational needs by adjusting the plugin settings. I suggest testing the front-end display on both desktop and mobile browsers to ensure proper alignment. Taking the time to configure these settings upfront prevents scheduling errors and improves the experience for your clients.
