Does Bookingor offer free salon booking with payment integration?
Bookingor Plugin Capabilities
I researched the Bookingor plugin and found that it provides a functional framework for salon managers to manage appointments. You can set up a calendar on your WordPress site that allows clients to book slots without leaving your domain. The base plugin acts as a reliable foundation for scheduling, but you should consider the integration requirements for financial transactions.
You can connect the plugin with standard payment gateways. This setup enables you to secure deposits or collect full payments at the point of booking. I believe this feature is critical for reducing no-shows in a busy salon environment. The dashboard gives you direct control over your schedule and service list, which helps you maintain an accurate availability display for your clients.
Key features I identified include:
- Automated appointment scheduling for clients.
- Integration with major payment gateways for deposits.
- Customizable service menus with duration and pricing.
- Dashboard views for daily and weekly schedules.
- Email notifications sent to both staff and clients.
- Buffer time settings between appointments.
- Multi-staff support for larger teams.
- Responsive design that adjusts to mobile screens.
I conclude that Bookingor provides a solid starting point for digitizing your booking process. You should test the payment configuration during your setup phase to ensure transactions flow correctly to your accounts. Take action today by mapping out your service list to prepare for your installation.
