Bookingor Shortcodes Documentation

Overview

Bookingor provides six shortcodes that allow you to display booking forms on any page, post, or custom post type in WordPress. These shortcodes are fully customizable using the Style Template menu with a Live Editor, enabling you to modify colors, text, and other design elements to match your brand.

Each shortcode represents a different UI template for displaying the booking system.

How to Use Shortcodes

Step 1: Add the Shortcode to a Page or Post

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel.
  2. Navigate to Pages or Posts.
  3. Click Add New or Edit an existing page.
  4. In the editor, paste one of the Bookingor shortcodes:
  5. Click Publish or Update to save the changes.
  6. View the page to see the booking form in action.

Step 2: Add Shortcodes in Elementor or Custom Post Types

  1. Open the Elementor editor or any page builder you are using.
  2. Add a Shortcode block/widget.
  3. Paste your preferred Bookingor shortcode.
  4. Click Update and preview the design.

How to Customize Shortcodes Using Live Editor

  1. Navigate to Bookingor in the WordPress admin menu.
  2. Click on Style Template.
  3. Select a design (e.g., Design 1, Design 2, etc.).
  4. Click Customize to enter the Live Editor.
  5. Modify elements like:
    • Text and headings
    • Colors (background, button, text)
    • Border radius
    • Icons and images
  6. Click Save Changes to apply customizations.

Notes

  • The Live Editor allows real-time updates, so you can preview changes before saving.
  • Each shortcode is fully responsive and works on all devices.
  • You can switch between different shortcodes to test different booking layouts.
